It's easier to teach yourself! Learn the chords, and practise every day. If you can play basic acoustic guitar, you can play basic electric guitar.Write in google: 'Learn to play Electric Guitar' or 'Electric Guitar tutorials'. May help.

YouTube,There's about 10000,00000,00000 billion trillion wanna be guitar gods who think they know best on there.I'm sure if you type in basic guitar lessons you'll get some middle aged virgin who'll teach you them.

Hey Joe,

Come and visit us at www.licklibrary.com - and have a sift throught some of the beginners' tutorials. We have songs, abd Jamtracks also, so I'm certain that you'll be able to find some good stuff on there to help you get going. Most of our stuff on YouTube is slightly more advanced, so you're probably better coming to us directly first couple of times round.
